Welcome 2026...
The Board and Staff at NAAC wish you and your loved ones a very joyous, healthy and Happy 2026. As we bid farewell to the old, we embrace the new with hope and look forward to new and exciting times ahead. We hope to see much more of you all in in 2026!
Having started from January 7, NAAC Music & Dance Academy is kicking off its new term of music and dance classes every Wednesday from 5:30pm-8:00pm. Come join us at Radford Academy to learn a new dance move, an instrument, singing, make new friends and have some fun...or come along for fitness, Yoga & Wellbeing at Wollaton Park and Newstead Abbey...
Our Music & Dance Academy students are given the opportunity to participate at loads of local events organised by NAAC and other organisations...so come along and be that budding star!
*******Planning has also started for our Holi Event in March and the Vaisakhi Event in April...please let us know if you'd like to perform or help in planning these events.*******
NAAC Music & Dance Academy
Please note that our NAAC Music & Dance Academy classes restarted on Wednesday 7 January 2026 from 5:30pm-8:00pm back at Radford Academy, Denman Street West, Radford, Nottingham NG7 3FL.
Please try and publicise the classes as much as possible. Do let us know if you want the NAAC to provide any specific workshops and or events; within reason and resources allowing, we will try to oblige. Hope to see all, our current and new students, back at the classes. We need full commitment from all our students in order for the classes to continue and be sustainable...
NAAC is looking for sponsorships/donations in order to carry on with the running of our Music and Dance classes. If you can or know of any businesses/individuals who can help us, then please get in touch with NAAC.

Holi in the Park
Holi in the Park
Date : Saturday 14th March 2026
Time: 12 pm – 5 pm
PRE-BOOKING PRICE: £2 per person (plus booking fee) – Pre-booked tickets in advance apply.
Join us as we bring communities together to celebrate the Festival of Colour 2026, to welcome in spring and enjoy a new beginning for everyone to start fresh.
This activity is hosted by Wollaton Park, in collaboration between Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Asian Arts Council and the Sanskriti Association of Nottingham.
The festival celebrates the triumph of good over evil, good harvest, and fertility with the daubing of coloured powders.
ON THE DAY PRICE: £5 per person (plus booking fee) – Entry not guaranteed as subject to capacity. Booking in advance is recommended.
Live music will be with Bollywood 2, a popular band from India. and include performances by NAAC students and academy.
Event location: Formal Gardens in Wollaton Park (Entry via the black gate at the front of the Hall) Parking: Main car park. Parking charges apply.
Toilet facilities for the event are in the courtyard building only, next to the top car park.

Yoga & Wellbeing at Wollaton Park & Newstead Abbey
Wollaton Park:
Meeting Point: In front of the Hall
Time: 10 am – 11.30 am
Price: £2 (plus booking fee). Parking charges apply.
Booking in advance is required on a first come first served basis in line with venue capacity. In case of bad weather, the event may be inside on a first come first served basis only.
For the sessions, the first 15/20 minutes of the Sunday will be Mindful Meditation and a warm-up of Yoga followed by the planned session for that week.

Newstead Abbey:
Come and join us for Wellbeing at Newstead each month in Newstead Park!
Date: Third Sunday of each month.
Meeting Point: In front of the Historic House
Time: 10 am – 11.00 am
Price: £2 (plus booking fee). Site entry or parking charges apply.
Booking in advance is required on a first come first served basis in line with venue capacity. In case of bad weather, the event may be inside on a first come first served basis only.
