Dear Friend,
I was pleased but not surprised to see that, in March alone, the U.S. economy added 196,000 jobs. That’s the equivalent of five Cape Girardeaus, ten Rollas, or almost twelve Sikestons.
We are in the midst of one of the longest lasting series of job growth in our nation’s history. Here’s what our booming economy looks like right now:
* We’re at a historic 3.8% unemployment rate.
* Over 5.1 million jobs have been added to the economy since President Trump took office.
* The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (which I proudly authored with our President) helped 80% of Americans get a tax cut, doubled the standard deduction, and dropped taxes on employers and farmers large and small from 35% to 21%. If you are a family making less than $55K annually, you now owe ZERO in federal taxes.
* Over 1,000 Regulations have been slashed with a net regulatory savings of over $33 billion to our economy.
All this growth, and yet, there are still those liberals and socialists out there that want to weigh down taxpayers, small business owners, farmers and families with economy-stunting policies and hefty entitlements that cost trillions.
