Friend,
Today, Lauren Boebert voted to give ICE even more funding.
And here in Colorado’s Fourth District, we are paying the price.
Last night, I stood in Hudson, Colorado, alongside neighbors who are furious and afraid. Why? Because a new ICE detention center is being built right here in CO-04.

A for profit private prison corporation was awarded a 39 million dollar contract to convert a closed prison into an ICE detention facility. This is not about public safety. This is about corporate profit and political cruelty, backed by votes like Lauren Boebert’s.
Let me be clear about something that too many politicians deliberately ignore.
Being in the country without documentation is a civil offense, not a violent crime. Every person, no matter where they were born, has basic human rights. Every person is entitled to due process under the Constitution.
ICE agents are supposed to follow the law. They are supposed to obtain warrants. They are supposed to respect constitutional limits.
They are not doing that.
Instead, ICE has become an unaccountable paramilitary force that is:
-
Entering homes without warrants
-
Using facial recognition surveillance
-
Targeting workers, families, and entire communities
-
Operating with near total immunity
That is not law enforcement. That is not justice. That is state power without accountability.
And we already know what happens inside these detention facilities. People are abused. Medical care is denied. Families are torn apart. A guard recently choked a detainee to death.
This is the system Lauren Boebert just voted to expand.
ICE now receives more funding than the United States Marine Corps. Let that sink in.
I am running for Congress because Colorado deserves better than this.

I will serve with integrity. I will defend the Constitution. I will protect due process. And I will fight to abolish ICE, because an agency that refuses to follow the law has no place in a democracy.
This is not about left versus right. This is about right versus wrong.
If you believe our communities deserve dignity. If you believe the Constitution still matters. If you are ready to stand up to cruelty disguised as policy.
Please donate today and help me take this fight to Congress.
Together, we can stop this detention center. Together, we can hold power accountable. Together, we can choose humanity over fear.
In solidarity,
I will defend the Constitution, even when it is politically inconvenient.
