Governor Hochul just gave her annual State of the State speech, but as Antonio told New York Focus this week: “What stood out was what wasn't said.” She once again committed to the politics of hoping nobody notices.
While she touted her accomplishments, she didn't call for taxing the rich. She didn't back the New York for All Act to protect our immigrant neighbors. And she offered no bold plan to stop Trump’s devastating cuts to our healthcare system.
Antonio is running because New York can’t afford a Governor who ignores the reality of the working class. He’s the only candidate in this race fighting for universal child care across the whole state, with a living wage for workers, truly affordable housing, and a healthcare system that puts patients over insurance conglomerates.
