Going into the second year of Donald Trump's presidency, I want to remind you: When this administration comes for our communities, they have to get past all of us.

This administration doesn't just face our legal team – they face a massive, unified front of resolute people like you. The ACLU is proud to provide tools and the strategy for this fight, but the real power of this movement lies in our collective resilience. Together, we are an unbreakable barrier against any attempt to roll back our rights.

Over the last year, what I am most proud of is how strong we are when we fight together.

Powered by this community's support, the ACLU not only took over 230 legal actions against the administration's illegal and unconstitutional actions – but also pushed back against this aggressive federal agenda on the local level, advocating for the successful passage of over 50 state laws that protect and expand civil liberties as part of our Firewall for Freedom work.

We mobilized hundreds of thousands of activists to protest in the streets and push their lawmakers to take action while expanding our Know Your Rights training and education to tens of thousands of online activists across the country.

The ACLU's incredibly important work was only made possible because of people like you all over the country, ACLU Supporter.
