Dear Friends,
As we know, COVID-19 cases are on the rise in our communities, and I'm working day and night in Congress to help:
--Help get more we need more PPE for our medical workers on the frontlines
--Help extend supplemental unemployment insurance so our families hardest hit friends and neighbors can put food on the table;
--Help secure additional medical funding to ensure that those who are sick can get the care they need.
Last week at a Congressional hearing in Washington I asked the FEMA Director when will the U.S. will be prepared if we have another pandemic- and he couldn't give me an answer.
It doesn't need to be this way.
