Friend,
One year ago, Donald Trump returned to the White House promising strength,
relief, and order. What we got instead was a year of chaos, corruption,
and cruelty made possible by Republicans in Congress who choose loyalty
over accountability at every turn.
This administration has governed through lies and intimidation. Trump
routinely takes credit for economic outcomes that existed before he took
office or never happened at all. When families are struggling, he blames
immigrants. When federal agencies break down, he blames civil servants.
When the truth threatens his power, he attacks the people telling it.
These are not slips of the tongue. They are deliberate lies repeated from
the White House podium to avoid responsibility.
At the same time, Trump has turned the presidency into a personal cash
machine. While Americans struggle to afford rent, groceries, and health
care, Trump and his family have used their access to power to enrich
themselves through business deals and crypto schemes that most people
barely understand but instinctively know are wrong. Money flows in.
Oversight disappears. And Republicans in Congress look the other way.
This is what corruption looks like when no one is stopping it.
And yet, voters see it clearly.
New national polling shows Trump deeply underwater with independent
voters. Just 34 percent approve of his job performance. A majority say the
country is worse off than it was before he took office. On the economy, on
running the federal government, and on immigration, Trump is losing public
trust fast.
On immigration, where Republicans have pushed their anti-immigrant agenda
the hardest, the public is rejecting the cruelty. Seventy one percent of
independents say ICE has gone too far.
So why does the damage keep piling up?
Because Republicans in Congress have refused to act as a check on any of
it. They rubber stamp the agenda. They protect Trump from oversight. They
block investigations. They enable the lies and benefit from the chaos.
That is why the 2026 midterms matter so much.
Flipping Congress is about restoring a basic check on a president who has
shown he will abuse power when no one stands in his way. It is about
stopping the worst policies, exposing corruption, and forcing
accountability back into a system Republicans have hollowed out.

The polling tells us something important. Americans are not fooled and are
speaking out. But without a Congress willing to act, Trump’s reckless
agenda will only accelerate.
We have one clear path to stop what comes next. Organize. Mobilize. Expose
the truth. And flip Congress so this administration can no longer operate
without limits.
This work is urgent. It is hard. And it depends on support from people
like you.
Thank you for staying engaged and refusing to accept this as normal.
