At the beginning of this month, I sent out a survey asking you what issues are front and center for you and your family this year. Thousands of you took the time to respond. Thank you.

Here are the three issues we heard about most:

✅ Lowering the cost of healthcare and prescription drug prices
✅ Protecting Social Security and Medicare
✅ Protecting voting rights and tackling campaign finance reform

These are the same issues I hear about when I’m home in West Michigan. They’re the reason I ran for Congress in the first place, and they’re the reason I’m fighting every day to deliver results for working families.

But here’s the reality. We can’t make real progress on any of these priorities as long as extremists control the House. That’s why this election year matters so much.
