A new Republican opponent has entered the race. She's the No. 2 official at ICE. She's as close an ally to Kristi Noem as it gets. Now, national Republicans are lining her up for Congress — in a district they just gerrymanded again last fall to try and tilt the playing field in their favor. That means outside GOP money is about to pour into this race. They see our district as a pickup opportunity, and they think they can buy this seat with MAGA cash while Republicans fight through a messy primary of their own making.
