Just this month, Chuck Schumer recruited a popular Alaska Democrat into that state’s Senate race. In just 24 hours, the candidate raised more than $1.5 million. This was a race that wasn’t on anyone’s radar and should be a safe Republican hold. Yet, Democrats' hatred of Trump is so intense that they’ll send money to any candidate who steps up to run against a Republican.
