John,
Today marks the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a flawed decision that stripped away protections for unborn children and imposed abortion on demand across the United States.
For nearly fifty years, millions of Americans prayed, marched, voted, and worked to right that wrong. In 2022, the Supreme Court finally overturned Roe, returning the power to protect life to the people and their elected representatives.
That was a historic victory, but it is not the end of the fight.
As a Christian and as a constitutional conservative, I believe deeply that faith and the Constitution go hand in hand when it comes to defending the right to life. Every child—born and unborn—deserves protection, dignity, and a chance at the American dream.
That belief guides everything I do in Congress.
