Congress is about to vote on even more funding for ICE.

Despite the horrors Trump’s secret police are unleashing on our
communities, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries won’t whip Democratic
votes to stop it.

While the House Democratic leader announced personal opposition to a
funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security, he won’t pressure
his colleagues to do the same.

This is cowardice in the face of fascism.

ICE is shooting and killing people, arresting and abducting children off
the streets, violently ripping people from their homes & vehicles and
detaining them for hours or days on end, and operating under an
unconstitutional memo that gives them the power to forcibly enter people’s
homes without a judge’s warrant.

We need a strong, unflinching opposition party that is united against the
president’s personal paramilitary force. Instead, Jeffries is willing to
let multiple Democrats vote with Republicans to pass this funding,
funneling even more of our tax dollars into state-sponsored terrorism.

[ [link removed] ]The 2026 midterm elections are an opportunity for us to challenge and
unseat Do-Nothing Democrats who enable Trump and ICE. Rush
