Dear John,
As the death toll soars and COVID-19 surges, Trump is waging war on his own citizens.
He’s sending unidentified federal agents to pick protesters off the street and throw them into unmarked vehicles. He’s suppressing crucial coronavirus data from the public, and muzzling Dr. Fauci. And his malicious incompetence has cost over 140,000 Americans their lives.
Meanwhile, his Republican enablers in the Senate are letting him get away with it, ignoring his authoritarian tactics and doing nothing to help Americans survive the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
While Democrats passed a comprehensive coronavirus relief package two months ago, Senate Republicans waited until the 11th hour to begin crafting their own bill, allowing the eviction moratorium for federal housing to expire and scrambling to act just days before expanded unemployment benefits lapse.
Senate Republicans’ proposed bill puts their priorities on stark display. It boosts our already bloated military budget, slashes unemployment benefits, provides no additional money for cash-strapped state and local governments, no funding for the post office, and no funding to secure our elections. It’s an absolute disgrace.
Our country is burning, and Trump and his Republican enablers could care less.
We have less than 100 days to mobilize the public to flip the Senate and vote out the most lawless and dangerous president in history.
Can you chip in today to help us consign Trump and his GOP lackeys to the dustbin of history? [[link removed]]
At Inequality Media Civic Action, we are doubling down on videos that get you the information you need, so you can spread the truth and help expose Trump and the GOP’s malicious incompetence.
Thanks to your past support, we are reaching more people than ever before.
But with Trump’s latest authoritarian crackdown, we need to do even more to make sure every American knows the full breadth of Trump’s lawlessness and Republicans’ complicity.
We have 99 days to take back the Senate and kick Trump out of office for good. [[link removed]]
Please chip in whatever you can today to help us keep up the fight. [[link removed]]
Thank you so much, my friends, for all you do,
