Thanks to your continued advocacy, we’re starting the new year with some good news out of Washington. Republicans and Democrats in Congress have come together to fund key programs for older adults. 

Your advocacy made the difference! Your calls, emails, and meetings helped elevate the importance of aging well. Thank you for speaking up for older adults. 

The bipartisan appropriations bill will help older Americans age well in their own homes and communities. The package includes funding for:

• Home-delivered and group meals to keep older adults healthy and free of hunger 
• Programs that connect older adults in need to benefits that help them afford Medicare 
• Transportation services to help older adults travel to medical appointments 
• Additional support for friends, family, and professionals who care for older adults 
• Job training and placement for older workers 
• Medicare telehealth through 2027 

Word is that Congress will vote on this legislation within the week.  

We need your voice again to thank members across the aisle for funding these critical programs. This is your chance to reinforce the message that we're all aging.
