Predictably, the critics rushed in. The same voices that want faith erased from public life accused Tim of being “divisive,” simply for acknowledging history and standing up for values that millions of Texans still believe in.
Judge O’Hare did not flinch.
He believes our courthouse should reflect the principles that built our justice system, not the political fashion of the moment. He believes local leaders should not apologize for faith, tradition, or the rule of law. And he believes elected officials should lead with conviction, even when it is unpopular with the loudest activists.
That is exactly what he did.
