I know you’re probably tired of seeing all my requests for your donation coming through your inbox (I wish I didn’t have to send them so often, either). But in a race this close, every dollar counts. Emails like this one are our best way of earning your financial investment. Although I will have to ask for your support today as well — my first priority today is to make sure you know how truly grateful I am. The outpouring of support our campaign has received so far has surpassed all my hopes. We are in a strong position in this toss-up race, and that’s all because of the momentum we’re building together. You know, when I ran for public office the very first time in NC, there were a lot of folks who had my back. Nash County is where I grew up. People there knew me and trusted me to do right by them. Without their help, I never could have won that first election. The stakes are even higher now, and I’m humbled to say that more and more of you are putting your faith and trust in us every day. You are the reason that I know that we can win the most competitive U.S. Senate race of 2026. In a race of national importance like this one, I don’t get as many chances to thank enough supporters personally, so it’s important to me to share my appreciation now. Thank you. We need to raise enough to take on my far-right opponent, who has dark-money groups and PACs lined up and ready to spend hundreds of millions against me. Falling short really isn’t an option.
