From severe storms to skyrocketing bills, the climate crisis is no longer a distant threat—it’s hitting our homes and our wallets right now.

But while millions of New Yorkers face the risk of displacement, Governor Kathy Hochul is moving backward. She’s endorsing new fracked gas pipelines and lowering renewable energy targets, all while corporate polluters rake in record profits.

I’m running for Governor to put people over polluters. My plan will:

• Make Polluters Pay: Enforce "Cap-and-Invest" rules to force big emitters to fund local energy efficiency and public health.

• Triple Public Renewables: Push the New York Power Authority (NYPA) to actually meet our legal climate mandates.

• End Utility Price Gouging: Move toward public ownership of the grid to transform utilities from monopolies into public services.

• Pass the NY HEAT Act: Cap utility costs at 6% of household income for working families.

• Build Green Housing: Fund the Livable New York Act to create 100,000 units of affordable, energy-efficient housing.

We can’t afford any more delays. We need leadership that treats this crisis like the emergency it is. Demand Gov. Hochul follow the law and take immediate climate action now!
