John,

On January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade established a constitutional right to abortion. In 2022, that right was overturned — stripping away federal protections and sending abortion access back to the states.

On this anniversary, will you help ensure voters can decide what comes next by chipping in $22 today? [[link removed]]

CHIP IN $22 TODAY: [[link removed]]

Here’s where things still stand:

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, at least 20 states [[link removed]] have banned or severely restricted abortion access. In many places, whether care is available comes down to one thing: who holds power at the state level.

Right now:
* 1 in 3 women live in states where abortion is banned.
* Black and Indigenous women are disproportionately impacted, with 60% living in states with bans or severe restrictions, largely across the South and Midwest.
* Nearly 15% of patients are forced to travel across state lines — often hundreds of miles— to access care.

We’ve also seen what happens when voters step in. Since 2022, 13 states have used ballot measures to protect abortion rights — securing new or stronger protections for more than 11 million women. And this year, Wyoming became the 14th state to keep legal abortion access, following a ban that had been temporarily blocked since 2023.

John, this year’s midterm elections will determine who writes the laws, who enforces them, and who has the power to protect — or restrict — reproductive freedom at the state level.

Will you commit to ensuring more voters can make their voices heard by setting up a $22 recurring donation? >>> [[link removed]]
