Indivisibles,

The people of Minnesota are an inspiration.

They’re out in the freezing cold protesting ICE brutality. They’re blowing
whistles to warn their communities when raids are imminent. They're
delivering groceries to their vulnerable neighbors and forming human
chains around schools during afternoon pickups.

And they’re doing it all in the face of a full-on terror campaign by the
Trump regime that’s already taken the life of one member of their
community and shattered countless others.

We can’t leave them to do this work alone. So in response to calls from
activists, labor groups, clergy, and other community leaders in
Minneapolis, we’re mobilizing for a nationwide day of solidarity and
action -- concrete, strategic action -- this Friday.

About the events

While Friday will be a nonviolent day of solidarity, we’re not talking
about sitting around singing kumbaya. We’re talking about putting pressure
on some of the economic powerhouses of Minnesota to end their complicity
with Trump’s deportation machine and demand that ICE get the &$*^ out for
good.

Following the lead of organizers in Minnesota, activists across the
country will be holding visible solidarity events in public spaces outside
Targets -- the brand most identified with the Gopher State. No Target? No
problem. Events can also be held in public spaces outside other businesses
that’ve enabled ICE activity or remained silent about its impact on their
customers, including Home Depot, Enterprise, and Hilton hotels.

These events will focus attention on ICE brutality, celebrate the bravery
of those standing up for their neighbors in Minneapolis and across the
Twin Cities, and demand that businesses speak out and take immediate
action to protect their customers and communities from ICE.

Other ways to take part in the day of action

If you can’t attend an event -- or if you want to do more after you attend
an event -- the ICE Out of Minnesota coalition has put together a toolkit
allowing anyone to dial up the pressure on its corporate targets by
emailing the companies’ leadership, printing out flyers to hang near the
businesses, or posting online.

[ [link removed] ]Use ICE Out MN's corporate power toolkit to put pressure on businesses
to do the bare minimum to protect their customers from kidnapping,
harassment, and violence from Trump’s masked thugs >>
Note: The toolkit includes dates for focused action on corporate targets,
some of which have passed. But the actions remain relevant, regardless of
the date.

And to make it even easier, here are the direct links for the tools to
email those businesses and demand immediate action in defense of
Minnesotans and all communities harmed by ICE:

We can do this.

We know these businesses aren’t going to do this out of the kindness of
their hearts. Every day since Trump’s election has shown us how willing
corporations are to submit to fascism if they think it helps their bottom
line.

But it’s past time to put the question to them: How is having your
employees snatched up, customers afraid to leave their houses, and members
of your community brutalized helping your bottom line? How is being
identified with an increasingly detested, lawless paramilitary force good
for business?

And if they aren’t clear on those answers yet, hundreds of events outside
their stores and all the media we shine on them might just help bring
things into focus.

In solidarity with the people of the Twin Cities and all those harmed by
ICE,
Indivisible Team
