Looking for ways to support better elections with ranked choice voting ([link removed]) ? Right now is the perfect time to get involved!

Each year on and around January 23, our state and national partners celebrate Ranked Choice Voting Day, because RCV is as easy as 1-2-3!

To kick off the festivities, Rank The Vote ([link removed]) is hosting a national celebration ([link removed]) online on January 22 at 8pm ET. The event will celebrate what our movement accomplished in 2025, and what’s ahead in 2026.

And here are just some of the RCV Day events happening around the country in the coming days.

Happening this week
* Voter Choice Massachusetts ([link removed]) is hosting a Lobby Day in Boston on January 22 ([link removed]) . After the Lobby Day, there will be a group skating event at Frog Pond and dinner at the Cambridge Innovation Center.
* Voter Choice New Jersey ([link removed]) is finishing up its Rank The Desserts tour, with an in-person event in Highland Park ([link removed]) on January 22, and a virtual event ([link removed]) on January 29.
* UpVote Virginia ([link removed]) is hosting a Ranked Choice Voting Day celebration in Richmond on January 22 ([link removed]) .
* Ranked Choice Voting Maryland ([link removed]) is hosting educational events across the state on January 23, including in Charlestown ([link removed]) , Greenbelt ([link removed]) , Hyattsville ([link removed]) , Rockville ([link removed]) , Annapolis ([link removed]) , Wheaton ([link removed]) , and Columbia ([link removed]) .
* Rank The Vote Ohio ([link removed]) is hosting an RCV Day Happy Hour in Columbus on January 23 ([link removed]) , and an All Hands On Deck meeting on January 26 ([link removed]) to help new volunteers get involved.
* Ocean State Ranked Choice Voting ([link removed]) will hold "Rank the Stuff" demonstrations at Farm Fresh Indoor Market on January 24 ([link removed]) and February 14 ([link removed]) .
* Represent Women ([link removed]) is hosting a webinar on January 22 ([link removed]) at 1pm ET to celebrate the organizers, educators, and coalition-builders who are helping RCV take root in their communities.

* FairVote Illinois ([link removed]) is hosting happy hours in Chicago on January 27 ([link removed]) and January 29 ([link removed]) , and in Oak Park on January 28 ([link removed]) .
* Rank MI Vote ([link removed]) is hosting a series of Rank MI Beer events across Michigan – beginning with one in Hamtramck on January 30 ([link removed]) , Detroit on February 5 ([link removed]) , and Ann Arbor on February 6 ([link removed]) . See more dates and locations here ([link removed]) .
* Better Ballot South Carolina ([link removed]) is hosting a screening of Majority Rules in Columbia on January 30 ([link removed]) . The film shows how ranked choice voting has improved elections in Alaska, and the screening will be followed by a Q&A on the RCV movement in South Carolina.
* Voter Choice Arizona ([link removed]) is looking for volunteers to staff a table at the Doggie St. Fair on January 31 ([link removed]) , a Super Bowl party on February 8 ([link removed]) , and a conference at the State Capitol on February 12 ([link removed]) .
* Better Ballot Iowa ([link removed]) is hosting a Day at the Capitol ([link removed]) on February 11, where you can meet fellow volunteers and learn new skills to help advocate for RCV.
* Unite NY ([link removed]) is hosting a lobby day in Albany on February 25.
