The report, Trump’s Terrible 2025, makes it unmistakably clear that Trump is once again using the tax code and economic policy to enrich the wealthy while shifting higher costs and deeper insecurity onto working families.[1]

Tax breaks are increasingly skewed toward billionaires and large corporations, with loopholes that reward accumulated wealth instead of work. When Trump’s tax changes are combined with his tariffs and spending cuts, only the top 10% of households are projected to see higher after-tax incomes over time. The bottom 90% are left paying an average of $13,600 more through higher prices and reduced benefits. That includes rising healthcare costs, higher utility bills, and more expensive insurance as basic household costs continue to climb.
