Friend, foreign policy demands judgment, discipline, and a clear plan. But Donald Trump recently described his approach this way: "My own morality. My own mind. It's the only thing that can stop me."

That isn't leadership. It's recklessness.

The President of the United States commands extraordinary power – power that affects our national security, our alliances, and America's credibility for decades to come. That power must be guided by principles and strategy, not personal whims.

Yet again and again, Donald Trump has shown that he has no plan.

In Venezuela, he authorized military action without coming to Congress – ignoring the Constitution – and offered no clear strategy for stability or peace. There was no endgame, no exit strategy, and no plan for what happens after, just chaos, danger, and the risk of another endless war – seemingly driven by oil interests and personal vendettas rather than American security.

Then Greenland. Threats against a NATO ally. Undermining the most successful military alliance in history. Sacrificing decades of trust and cooperation in pursuit of a warped sense of manifest destiny and personal acquisitiveness.

Our allies are watching. And they are asking a dangerous question: Can America still be trusted?

The damage doesn't disappear when Donald Trump eventually leaves office. Broken alliances take years, even generations, to repair. When America abandons principled leadership, our adversaries rush to fill the void.

I believe America must lead with clarity, respect for international law, and a strategy worthy of our values – not impulse, intimidation, or ego. That's why I'm asking for you to take action today.

Will you stand with me in demanding a smarter, more principled American foreign policy? Sign the petition before midnight to make your voice heard.

Thank you for standing up for American leadership the world can rely on.

Sincerely,
Dick
