The federal government is proposing the 11th National Offshore Oil & Gas Leasing Program ([link removed]) . This proposal opens up new oil and gas drilling leases off the coast of California, Alaska, and in the Gulf of Mexico.
More oil leases off our coast = higher risk of oil spills, polluted surf breaks, and harm to marine life.
