I’ve worked alongside Rob in the climate fight for years, and I’ve seen up close what makes him different. He listens. He acts. And when powerful corporations or reckless politicians put people at risk, he doesn’t hesitate to take them on — even when it puts a target on his back.
As Attorney General, Rob has built a legal fortress around California by defending our freedoms, our communities, and our environment from relentless attacks by Donald Trump, Big Oil, and corporate interests that think the law doesn’t apply to them.
His office has brought historic lawsuits against oil and gas giants for their decades of deception about climate change. He’s taken on polluters who lied to the public, endangered our health, and put profits ahead of people. And he’s gone to court again and again to stop Trump’s attempts to freeze climate funding, dismantle environmental safeguards, and abuse federal power.
That work is precisely why Rob is under attack, and it's why I’m using my voice to make sure he has the resources and people power to win.
We are living through a moment when abuse of power is no longer theoretical. It’s happening in real time. And California’s Attorney General is one of the strongest checks we have against it.
Rob Bonta has proven he will use every tool of the law to protect families, defend vulnerable communities, and stand up for the California Dream — the idea that every single person who calls this state home deserves safety, dignity, and a fair shot at the future.
