Dear John,

Please don’t look away. I ask you to take a moment to read this email.

Nigeria’s Christians are under siege. At this very moment, while the world looks away, Nigeria is being stained with blood.

Every day, the violence continues to escalate: between December and January 2026, a wave of murders has plagued Benue State as radical Fulani herdsmen unleashed systematic slaughter across Christian communities, hunting families in their sleep, executing farmers in their fields, and even desecrating the grief of a funeral with cold-blooded murder.

And as terror spreads like wildfire, international leaders respond with a deafening silence.

But silence is not neutrality.

Silence is complicity.

And that’s why I’m asking you something very simple today:

Will you help me break the silence on Nigeria?

Because the moment thousands of us speak up… things change.

President Trump and Secretary Rubio did not pretend they “didn’t know.”

They can demand that other world leaders increase the pressure for the freedom of kidnapped Christians.

They can raise this issue publicly and loudly.

They can push international organizations to address the issue and stop looking away.

But they will only move if you and I force them to.

That’s why we are launching this petition to slam Nigeria’s persecution onto the agenda, where it can’t be buried and ignored anymore.

Please don’t wait.

Sign now before another school is raided. Before another family is attacked in the night.

Thank you for speaking up when silence costs lives,

Dear John,

While you and I started this New Year in the peace and comfort of our homes, not everyone was so lucky.

Christians in Nigeria spent Advent in terror.

Right now, across Nigeria, thousands of Christians are being hunted, abducted, and slaughtered simply for daring to whisper the name of Christ. Entire villages vanish overnight. Churches are turned into ash. Children are dragged from their beds into the darkness.

This is not a distant tragedy; it is a catastrophe unfolding in real time.

Nigeria has become the deadliest place on earth to be a Christian. It’s not just "crime" to be a believer; it’s a targeted, systematic campaign of extermination. 82% of all Christians killed for their faith worldwide are murdered on Nigerian soil.

Think about that. Eight out of every ten martyrs in the world die in one single country. And yet, the world remains silent.

I can’t watch any longer and do nothing. This is a moment of life and death for our brothers and sisters, and they need you and me, right now.

On Christmas Day, the United States acted. It carried out targeted strikes against ISIS militants and reaffirmed Nigeria’s designation as a Country of Particular Concern for religious persecution under the leadership of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The message was clear: the slaughter of Christians cannot continue without consequences. Now the United States must continue leading by pressuring allies and world leaders to take action.

Here’s the truth: military action alone will not save Nigeria’s Christians. What will save lives is sustained international pressure — sanctions, visa bans, and diplomatic consequences that force governments and enablers to act.

That’s why we must act now.

Sign the petition to demand that President Trump and Secretary Rubio press allies and the international community to protect persecuted Christians in Nigeria.

The stories coming out of Nigeria are the stuff of nightmares.

In 2025 alone, over 7,000 Christians were slaughtered, and more than 7,800 were dragged into captivity.

Can you imagine the agony of those families? Waiting for a New Year that only brings silence?

And it gets worse.

In local communities across the Middle Belt, terrorists don't just kill; they desecrate. They burn churches to the ground while congregations are inside. They hunt fathers in their fields and drag children from their beds.

Just days ago, while families tried to gather for prayer, militants opened fire.

They don't just want the land; they want to erase the name of Jesus from the region.

I can’t stop thinking about what these families are going through. While we take our freedom for granted, they are paying for their faith with their lives—one burning house and one stolen life at a time.

It breaks my heart that the world seems to have forgotten them. But YOU and I haven't.

Our petition is not just a formality—it is a lifeline thrown toward those trapped in the dark. Every signature becomes another crack of light for those who feel forgotten and a reminder to political leaders that their silence cannot continue.

Add your voice: urge President Trump and Secretary Rubio to pressure allies and world leaders to protect Nigerian Christians.

The United States has already named Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) and has taken action.

The legal threshold has been crossed. Now that leadership must be sustained to force global follow-through.

A CPC designation is meaningless unless it triggers real consequences. Other governments control sanctions, visas, aid, and diplomatic leverage that can force the Nigerian authorities and their enablers to act — if citizens compel them to move.

If we don’t stand up for them, who will?

By signing this petition, you are urging Secretary Rubio to continue leading and to pressure allies and world leaders to:

Enforce targeted sanctions against the perpetrators and the officials who allow this slaughter.

Implement visa bans to deny entry to those who authorise these atrocities.

Tie all international aid to the real, verifiable protection of Christian communities.

CitizenGO is mobilising rapidly to rally people like you. We are building the pressure, but we cannot do this without you. Take thirty seconds of your day to add your name:

Sign the petition demanding that President Trump and Secretary Rubio compel the international community to impose real consequences on those responsible for the anti-Christian terror in Nigeria.
In solidarity with our fellow Christian brothers and sisters persecuted in Nigeria,
