| Friend, Our criminal justice system needs reform.
For too long, Left-wing activists have pushed policies that let violent offenders walk free while tying the hands of the brave men and women who protect us. Recently, I had the privilege to hear from Officer Justin Campbell of the Charlotte Police Department on the problems that our first responders face every day. Officer Campbell didn’t hold back: “The judicial system in Mecklenburg County is trash. The magistrate system has no idea what they are doing. This cashless bail system is a joke.” Enough is enough. It is time we empower our law enforcement agencies to keep our communities safe. I’m humbly asking you to stand with me - and with every first responder who puts their life on the line to protect ours. Let's make America safe again.
