This morning I write to share that I am running for re-election. I love working for you and working to expand and strengthen the American Dream for more Arlingtonians. My remarks announcing my candidacy for re-election to the County Board
before the Arlington Democratic Committee on January 7th

In my comments, I shared my why: why I am running for re-election and what I want to work on if re-elected.I will feel the fire and am inspired each day by what remains to be done to strengthen the American Dream in Arlington.

As for what I want to do if re-elected, here are my priorities. First, we must stabilize our economy and position it for recovery. Second, we must protect and serve our most vulnerable. Third, keep our community safe. To be clear, that specifically means we must stand for and with our immigrant community and immigrant families. And fourth, we must invest in what makes Arlington great: our schools, our environment, and our children.

Congressman Don Beyer
I am thrilled to announce that I have earned the endorsement of Congressman Don Beyer. Congressman Beyer is an outstanding public servant and Representative for Arlington. I have known and admired Mr. Beyer for years, but I am particularly grateful for his leadership fighting for our federal workforce and immigrant families in 2025 and 2026. I am honored to earn his endorsement for re-election, and I look forward to continuing to work with him to meet this difficult moment. Together we will do all we possibly can to stop this Administration from harming Arlingtonians, Virginians, and our country.
