On the one year anniversary of his second Inauguration, Donald Trump held a press conference, bloviating about his supposed accomplishments as he marches up toward authoritarian rule, while tanking our economy and longstanding global alliances. Stuart Stevens, Joe Trippi, and Rick Wilson took covered some of the “highlights” from the presser that could have been a few Truth Social posts.
Rick summed it all up: “The press conference ranged from pathetic, to insane, to angry, to defensive, to egomaniacal, to everything in between.”
One of the low moments was Trump’s response to one of his ICE agents killing Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. Trump claimed he felt terribly about her murder and rambled on and on about supposed claims that her father “loved Trump.”
“I don’t know, dude, you murdered his f*cking daughter,” Rick noted.
