Friend, last week kicked off Georgia’s legislative session.

I started the week by announcing nearly $25 million in fines against a bunch of health insurance companies. They were trying to skirt Georgia’s mental health parity law and we held them accountable.

No one’s above the law. If you try to get around the rules to avoid giving Georgians the coverage they deserve, we’re going to hold you accountable.

My #1 job since taking office has been cleaning up this department and making it work for the people again.

I’ve fined insurance companies more than any commissioner in Georgia history.

My team has recovered more than $100 million from insurance companies and sent it back to Georgia families.

We’ve restored morale at what was once a broken agency.

Now that I have an opponent, the Democrats’ political machine is going to try to rewrite history to attack and defeat me. Don’t fall for the spin.

We’ve gotten stuff done for Georgia families, have a good story to tell, and know what we need to do to keep things moving in the right direction. But we’ll only do so if we win in November.

So while I can’t fundraise right now, I’m planning to update you once per week about what I’m up to and how I’m fighting for you. I hope you’ll share the message with three of your friends.
