Marie believes that Democrats have lost touch with the daily frustrations and sense of powerlessness that many Americans feel right now.
That’s why we need more Democrats like Marie who come from traditional, working-class backgrounds. Marie owns an auto repair shop and lives on a homestead — she’s not the typical politician in Washington.
That allows her to fight for her rural community and champion their causes. And it’s working! She has been elected twice in a district that voted for Donald Trump.
