Blue Dog co-chair Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) was just featured in the New York Times talking about our movement to reshape Democratic politics around everyday people.

But if you only have a few minutes, here is a quick synopsis:
Marie believes that Democrats have lost touch with the daily frustrations and sense of powerlessness that many Americans feel right now.
That’s why we need more Democrats like Marie who come from traditional, working-class backgrounds. Marie owns an auto repair shop and lives on a homestead — she’s not the typical politician in Washington.
That allows her to fight for her rural community and champion their causes. And it’s working! She has been elected twice in a district that voted for Donald Trump.
Together, we can take back the House and get Congress back to work for working people.
