One year ago today, Donald Trump was officially inaugurated and began his second term as president.
When Trump took office, he pledged to bring relief to struggling Americans. The reality has been the opposite: rising costs, slashes to Medicaid and SNAP, and a government that prioritizes the wealthy and well-connected over everyday families.
This isn’t what the American people voted for, and Republicans in Congress have enabled him every step of the way.
We want to know what you think, John. Will you take a quick survey to share your thoughts on Donald Trump’s first year in office?
While Americans struggle to afford groceries, rent, and health care, Trump has used the presidency to treat public office like a personal business venture.
He’s pushed devastating cuts to health care that threaten coverage for millions, weakened federal government agencies, and undermined our democratic institutions at every turn.
At the same time, he has attempted to entrench his power by promoting aggressive redistricting plans in states across the country, threatening the fairness of our elections and the principle of one person, one vote.
Now, we want to hear from you, John: Will you take a brief poll to share your thoughts on Trump’s first year in office and what it means for the future of our democracy?
Thank you,
Team Mrvan
