John, today marks one year since Donald Trump returned to the White House.
And in that year, we’ve seen exactly what this administration stands for.
They’ve doubled down on cruelty – using ICE to terrorize our communities, gutting our healthcare, and stacking the deck for billionaires while working families are left to pick up the pieces. It’s been harmful, reckless, and intentional.
But here’s the truth: they underestimated us.
Because even in the face of all of this, our movement didn’t disappear. We organized. We showed up. We kept building power – door by door, community by community.
And that’s why I’m still hopeful.
Grassroots power doesn’t come from Washington insiders or billionaire donors. It comes from people like you deciding, again and again, that we’re not going to give up on each other or the future we deserve.
Every organizing program we run, every young leader we train, every voter we reach takes real resources. But every time I see a grassroots donation come in, I’m reminded that hope isn’t passive – it’s something we build together.
So today isn’t about Trump. It’s about us.
It’s about resilience, solidarity, and recommitting to the work of building a country that actually works for everyone.
If you’re able, will you make a grassroots donation of $27, or whatever you can, to keep this movement strong for years to come? We’ll keep fighting the good fight with your help, John.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
We’re still here. We’re still fighting. And with you, we’re not backing down.
In solidarity,
Maxwell
