John, one year ago today, Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Since then, we have witnessed Trump-deployed ICE agents terrorizing our neighborhoods, funding for Medicaid and SNAP being slashed, attacks on LGBTQ+ people escalating, and this administration openly working to undermine our elections.

None of this has been easy to live through, John. And still, our movement continues to show up and fight for our communities. 

Across the country, Sister District volunteers mobilized in the streets, on the phones, and at the doors, to speak out, grow our movement, and win elections.

At a time when Donald Trump and the MAGA allies are doing everything they can to make us feel powerless, our collective activism is making a difference.

It’s given Democratic leaders the ability to defend healthcare, to protect immigrant communities, and to push back against dangerous power grabs. And it’s proven that when we organize in state races, we can deliver victories for our communities.

But we know that Donald Trump will be in office for three more years, and we know the attacks aren’t going to stop. Neither can we.
