Despite outraising our campaign last quarter, John Cornyn is raising the alarm for Republicans:
“I think Talarico is dangerous,” he said. “He’ll probably beat Jasmine Crockett, and he’s capable of raising a lot of money. And if you look at the head-to-head with Paxton, it’s tied.”
Look, John Cornyn may be corrupt — but he isn’t dumb.
He sees James surging and our grassroots strength growing by the day. So now he’s desperate.
He’s praying that the corporate and billionaire mega-donors funding his super PAC will swoop in to save the day and tear down James with smear attacks.
Together, we are building a movement poised to change the politics of Texas and take power back for working people in November. But it will be difficult. National Republicans know that if James flips this seat, Democrats have a real shot to take back the Senate majority.
