Friend,
I’m deeply concerned by the growing national efforts to undermine public health guidance and weaken protections that keep our children safe from preventable diseases.
Parents deserve clear, science-based information, not confusion driven by politics. When vaccine recommendations are questioned or access to care is restricted, it’s children and families who pay the price.
As a father myself, I take this personally. No family should have to worry about whether their child can access routine, life-saving healthcare simply because of where they live or how much they earn.
As Shelby County Mayor, I will work to make sure our community continues to protect children by:
- Expanding access to affordable, preventative healthcare, especially in underserved neighborhoods
-
Supporting the Shelby County Health Department so families can get reliable information and care close to home
- Investing in outreach and education that helps parents make informed decisions based on science, not fear
-
Ensuring no child falls through the cracks when it comes to routine vaccinations and preventative care
Protecting children from preventable illness should never be a partisan issue. It’s a responsibility we all share.
If you believe, like I do, that our leaders must stand up for children’s health and follow the science, I ask you to stand with me.
Donate what you can to help us bring accessible healthcare to every family in Shelby County, any amount helps.
