I discussed the painful loss of John Lewis and how we carry on his legacy, which includes getting the Voting Rights Advancement Act passed in the House of Representatives.

Rep. Lewis dedicated his life to securing the right to vote for EVERY American – and yet voter disenfranchisement continues to plague our nation.

I pledge to do my part to get the Voting Rights Advancement Act passed in the House so we can end voter suppression once and for all and honor Rep. Lewis’s legacy.
