USPS will "run out of cash this fiscal year."

That was the warning that former Postmaster General Megan Brennan delivered to Congress in April.

She asked for $75 billion in aid to save the historic U.S. agency -- which delivers crucial correspondence, lifesaving medication, and vital vote-by-mail ballots to millions of Americans every year.

Congress only approved a $10 billion loan to USPS. But so far, Donald Trump has held that money hostage -- demanding that USPS raise its prices if it wants to receive the kind of relief he was happy to send to big corporate interests free of charge earlier this year.

Now, USPS is run by a top Trump donor with zero postal service experience. And at the moment, Americans' favorite government agency is so underfunded that its delivery trucks are literally bursting into flames.

This is no way to treat the landmark American institution that's existed since 1775. We demand that Congress step in to save USPS -- and the millions of Americans who are relying on their services now more than ever.

But we need your help.

If you believe that USPS doesn't deserve to go bankrupt due to Donald Trump's greed -- if you believe the 600,000+ employees who rely on USPS for their livelihoods deserve to be protected -- and if you insist that your mail, your medicine, and your ballot be secured before November, then please, add your name now to DEMAND Congress take action to save the U.S. Postal Service. >> [link removed]
