Dear John,
ICE out of Minnesota! [[link removed]]
A coalition of over 100 union locals, community groups, faith organizations and others have joined together to protest the federal invasion of Minnesota by masked ICE agents who are rounding up and deporting law-abiding people, tearing apart families, attacking immigrants and protesters, and terrorizing residents, causing the tragic death of Renee Good.
This week has been declared a Week of Action, and each day will protest one of the corporations that is enabling the Trump administration’s brutality against immigrants, people of color, protesters, and uninvolved bystanders. On Monday Target was the focus. Today Home Depot is the focus of protest. Wednesday we will protest Enterprise, which provides ICE with vehicles; on Thursday, Hilton Hotels, which are cooperating with ICE in housing their masked goons; and on Friday, Delta Airlines.
Comrades everywhere can help by organizing solidarity actions in their own communities, using the Toolkit developed by ICE Out of Minnesota [[link removed]] , which has sample posts, flyers, graphics and messaging that can be used to show our solidarity.
The week will conclude with Friday’s Day of Truth and Freedom. There will be a march and demonstration in Minneapolis, and across the country events are being organized in solidarity with the fight to get ICE out of Minnesota. Specific demands include:
1.) ICE must leave Minnesota now.
2.) The officer who killed Renee Good must be held legally accountable.
3.) No additional federal funding for ICE in the upcoming Congressional budget and ICE should be investigated for human and Constitutional violations of Americans and our neighbors.
4.) We call upon Minnesota and National Companies to become 4th Amendment businesses, cease economic relations with ICE and refuse ICE entry or using their property for staging grounds.
How will you help? Take action now.
