John, my team made this video because it doesn’t matter what they say about me – I’ll never stop speaking truth to power, and I’ll never stop fighting for you.

Let me back up:

Recently, I made the White House REALLY mad.

They’ve been targeting Somali Americans in a desperate attempt to distract us from Epstein, the Big Ugly Law, rising costs, and more.

So, in a Committee hearing in which Republicans made racist statement after racist statement, I shared facts about who is committing crimes at disproportionate rates in our country – including the President of the United States and the insurrectionists he pardoned.

Then:

• The White House attacked me directly, calling me “unhinged” and “sick.”

• Fox News and other right-wing outlets made my comments go viral.

• My office received dozens of disgusting, violent phone calls. I got a wave of emails, comments, and DMs calling me every name in the book. And protestors came and picketed my home in Washington.

It’s clear that I hit a nerve. The Trump regime is unpopular. They need folks mad at small minority groups to distract from their failures. (It’s not an original strategy.) When someone shares facts that disrupt their narrative, they need to attack that person fiercely.

I’m an outspoken, queer, working-class Latina in public office. I’ve gotten my share of nasty messages! They can say what they want – I’ll never stop fighting for you.
