Email from Colorado Draws the Line The Utah GOP has made a faustian pact with the devil. Enter Scott Pressler and his organization Early Vote Action. John, The nation continues to sour on MAGA and Donald Trump. Because of this every seat the GOP can redistrict is going to count. Now even tiny states like Utah are now becoming decisive flash points in the redistricting arms race. In 2025 a federal judge ruled that Utah needed to create a Democratic district around Salt Lake City because of Utah’s constitution which guarantees independent redistricting. In reaction, Republicans are now working overtime to have this piece of their constitution repealed - an initiative that will require the signatures of 8% of eligible voters, or about 141,000 people. To get these signatures they have made a faustian pact with the devil. Enter Scott Pressler and his organization Early Vote Action.     Early Vote Action is a GOP get out the vote organization which MAGA deploys to organize for their most important races. The organization is funded by some of the most despicable people in our nation, and for that matter, on the planet: Elon Musk - the far-right richest man in the world and a colossal piece of garbage. Michael Flynn - the disgraced special forces general who used his psychological warfare acumen to spread the Q-Anon conspiracy theory, which claimed democrats were ritualistically murdering children, ruining thousands of lives and leading to over a dozen murders. Tristan Tate - the “manosphere” influencer who along with his brother, Andrew Tate, was caught running a massive sex trafficking ring in Romania. The brothers were freed by Romanian authorities because of pressure from the Trump administration. As we type this, blood money from Musk, Flynn, and Tate is hard at work helping to pay the salaries of MAGA canvassers who are hard at work collecting signatures to ensure that MAGA picks up yet another gerrymandered seat. Because of GOP redistricts in Texas, Florida, Missouri, and now most likely Utah, along with the 25+ Black congressional districts they could gain if/when SCOTUS repeals key portions of the Voting Rights Acts, there is a real chance Democrats will not win back the House in 2026, even with a blue Tsunami. Mathematically, the only way we survive is through Democrats redistricting GOP seats. That's why Coloradans are hitting back. Hard. Colorado Draws the Line is pushing through a ballot measure that when passed will erase 3 MAGA congressional districts (including Lauren Boebert’s seat - CO-04). Time is of the essence.
