Recently, Rep. Yassamin Ansari co-sponsored legislation to impeach Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary and to increase oversight of ICE.
We applaud Rep. Ansari because this is exactly what we need.
Her district, which includes downtown Phoenix, and the entire state of Arizona are being, and will continue to be, targeted by ICE.
She knows better than anyone that we cannot let Phoenix turn into what we’ve been seeing in Minneapolis.
Another important point is that Congresswoman Ansari isn’t backing down. As Trump continues to threaten Democrats, she only gets louder.
She is exactly the type of Democrat we need.
In 2026, we plan on supporting Democrats at the state and local level just like Rep. Ansari: Democrats who are willing to fight for us, no matter the cost.
