Important Notice Regarding the Free America Walkout
In our Weekly Alert, we included information about the Free America Walkout at 2 p.m. as well as a Free America Walkout rally in downtown Lexington this afternoon at the Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza.
We wanted to let you know that we did not plan that rally nor did any of our coalition partners. It was an event registered on the Free America and Women’s March websites as well as on Facebook.
As of an hour ago, the Facebook event no longer exists, but the organizer says they are still meeting at 2 p.m. at Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza. We do not have any more details.
We still encourage you to participate in the walkout at 2 p.m. Here is the link to the Free America Website ([link removed]) for details. We do not know if people are gathering at the courthouse plaza, but you are welcome to stop by and see.
