It taught me an important lesson

Patriot,

The first two months were built to break me down.

We call it “Beast Barracks” or just “Beast.” It’s the 60-day
not-so-gentle orientation for West Point plebes. The rising seniors,
or “firsties,” take wide-eyed teenagers through a time-tested
process intentionally designed to break down the individual and remold
us as a corps of leaders & officers.

The only way to survive Beast is to lean on your fellow plebes,
drawing strength from one another. _Unfortunately, that mindset is
completely foreign to too many career politicians in Washington, whose
selfishness has become the status quo._

So, if you’re looking to continue business as usual in DC, I’m not
your guy.

BUT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP SHAKING THINGS UP, PUSHING BACK AGAINST
ENTRENCHED ELITES, AND DELIVERING REAL RESULTS FOR THE PEOPLE WE

Washington insiders and entrenched bureaucrats have over our

Attending West Point and serving in the Army turned out to be one of
the best decisions of my life. _I’ve been blessed to live the
American Dream, and I will not sit back and watch it slip away for our
children._

This country gave me everything I have. I believe I still have
something to give in return.
