Good morning Jack,

Mississippi is at a turning point for education.

Just days ago, HB2 — landmark school choice legislation — passed the Mississippi House and has now moved to the Senate, marking one of the most significant advances for parental empowerment and education freedom our state has seen in years. If enacted, this legislation would expand options for families, put students first, and begin reshaping how education works for Mississippi children.

That’s why this moment matters — and why we’re hosting Education Freedom with Corey DeAngelis on Tuesday, February 10 at 11:30 AM at River Hills Country Club.

Corey DeAngelis is one of the nation’s leading advocates for school choice and education freedom, widely recognized for his research, data-driven analysis, and ability to translate policy into real-world impact for families. His work has helped shape education reform efforts across the country, and the growing national momentum — including support from the Trump administration and the U.S. Secretary of Education — underscores just how central school choice has become to the future of American education.
