I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this is the most important election of our lifetimes. This pandemic has been just one of the many examples that defeating Mr. Trump in November is not just a partisan goal — it is life or death for so many. It is the only way to ensure that we can move forward as a country and do real substantive work towards climate action, racial justice, and so much more. Voting for Vice President Biden in November is not only a vote against Trump. It is a vote to build a better future.

That’s why today, I’m asking you to register to vote. Even if you’re confident that you’re already registered, this is a great time to double check. With voter rolls being purged across the country, we cannot take our registration status for granted. You can both check your status and register to vote at iwillvote.com.

It is also imperative that we check-in with our friends and family to make sure they’re registered to vote as well. After you check your own registration, share iwillvote.com on social media and email your friends and family. The first step to removing Trump in November and building a progressive future is making sure we are all registered to vote today.

Then, once you’ve made sure you’re registered and encouraged others to do the same, let’s talk about what we can all do together to force change right now. Voting is absolutely critical, but there’s even more you can do in the 100 days leading up to the election. That’s why today we’re launching our new Action Center.
