I hope your 2026 is off to a wonderful start and that you are filled with hope for the year ahead. I know we are. Here at the Alzheimer's Association, we're hopeful that this will be a year of breakthroughs in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. A year that we continue to enhance care and support resources for those living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. To achieve that, we need your help.
Today, I'm writing to urge you to help us start the new year strong in the fight against Alzheimer's by supporting our 2026 Annual Fund Drive.
After a year of challenges — including uncertainty around federal funding for vital programs like the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act and the Healthy Brain Initiative — the Alzheimer's Association, powered by supporters like you, rose to the challenge. Together, we kept momentum strong, research advancing, and public health programs funded and intact. But our work is far from done. Now is the time to do more, not less. We're working hard to protect care, support and research for millions of people, but we need your help now.
You can be part of a powerful movement dedicated to advancing our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Providing care and support, such as our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). Staffed by specialists and master's-level care consultants, our Helpline received over 204,000 calls and online chats in 2025. Whether someone is in a crisis or looking for more information about Alzheimer's, someone is available to answer their call.
Investing in Alzheimer's research. The Alzheimer's Association currently has $450 million invested in over 1,200 active projects in 56 countries, spanning six continents.
Strengthening advocacy efforts to encourage lawmakers to keep Alzheimer's a national priority, as well as ensure the passage of critical legislation that could greatly improve the lives of those living with Alzheimer's.
It's essential that we achieve our goals because right now, 1 in 3 seniors die from Alzheimer's or another dementia. It's an escalating global public health crisis, and we need your help to change the trajectory of this disease. That's whyyour 2026 Annual Fund Drive gift has never been more important.
To thank you for your commitment to the fight in 2026, you'll receive exclusive benefits, including updates on the latest research breakthroughs, educational content, resources for caregivers and more.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
