New Bill Would Strip Accountability From CCA Requirements
Immediate Action Needed

HB 2251 Hide the Carbon Tax Data
This bill would eliminate the requirement to "evaluate the impacts" of state-funded climate projects. This comes after Washington Policy Center exposed the Dept of Ecology's originally released Climate Commitment Act impact numbers that were wildly off ([link removed]) and that billions in revenue has not gone towards climate resiliency projects as was promised.

HB 2251 has a public hearing THIS AFTERNOON at 4pm.

Don't let WA Dept of Ecology hide from taxpayers.
