This month, you’ve heard a lot from our team about the importance of winning
the “digital fight.” 


And I’m reaching out to talk to you about it again, because it’s more
important than ever —Real Clear Politics just moved our race a “Toss Up!” That
means our seat is up for grabs and that our race is going to be decided by a
razor thin margin. 


The key to pushing us over the top and seizing the lead from our opponent is
winning the battle online. 


In the age of COVID-19, campaigns are won and lost on computer, phone, and
tablet screens. John can’t walk in parades, shake hands with Michiganders, or
go door-to-door like he would be able to in normal times. 


So instead, we have to rely on digital advertising and social media to recruit
Co-Pilots and spread our message to as many Americans as possible. 


And, John, this is where it gets tricky. Making compelling campaign ads isn’t
cheap, and neither is making sure that voters get their eyes on them. 


As we enter the final months of our campaign, the digital fight is only going
to get more intense.  


That’s where you come in. The only reason we have been able to compete online
is because of the generosity of grassroots donors like you. 95% of our
donations are under $100.
