Introduced the Greenland Sovereignty Protection Act

Trump’s threat to take over Greenland “one way or another” is reckless and extremely dangerous.

That’s why I introduced the Greenland Sovereignty Protection Act, to block him, or any president, from using federal funds to annex, invade, purchase, or otherwise acquire Greenland.

While families across Los Angeles and the country struggle to survive in the economy he destroyed, Trump is starting foreign wars, building a personal national police force, and taking away health care from millions of Americans.

My message to Donald Trump is simple, hands off Greenland, keep America safe, and focus on what you promised to do, lower costs and make life more affordable.

Today’s Republicans are hardly recognizable... They’re Trumpistas that will do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Republicans once claimed to stand for free trade and limited government. But now? They’re cheering on massive tariffs, trying to control the Federal Reserve, and unleashing lawless DHS agents into communities across the country.

During a Ways and Means Committee hearing, I called out Republicans’ blind loyalty to Trump, because attacking the Federal Reserve will only hurt interest rates, credit card rates and make it more expensive for working families to get by.

Hosted a Telephone Town Hall with Over 7,000 Constituents

With so much happening at home and around the world, I know many people in our community are feeling overwhelmed, confused, and frustrated.

That’s why I held an urgent telephone town hall with over 7,000 of our neighbors to discuss recent developments, including ICE raids, the Trump administration’s military operation in Venezuela, and affordable health care.

Trump promised he would lower the cost of living. But he lied to us all. Instead of making life more affordable for hardworking families, he is raising prices, handing out tax breaks to the wealthy, and creating his own national police force.

While he’s forgotten about American families, I won’t stop working to represent you. I’ll keep standing up for your family’s safety, your rights, and a fair shot at getting ahead.
