Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honor a man who dedicated his life to justice, equality, and lifting up communities.

Dr. King reminded us that freedom, opportunity, and fairness are not guarantees, they are responsibilities we must fight for every day.

In Shelby County, we see what that fight looks like in real life. Families working hard still struggle to access quality education, affordable housing, and the resources they need to thrive. Children deserve the chance to succeed regardless of their ZIP code or their parents’ income. And our neighborhoods deserve leadership that listens, acts, and puts people first.

That’s why I’m running for Shelby County Mayor.

This campaign is about turning our values into action and making Shelby County a place where:

• Every child has access to quality Pre-K and public schools
• Working families can afford the necessities of life
• Community leaders are accountable and responsive
